Special Education Resource Teacher at Chicago Public Schools September 2013 Private Tutor since September 2010 I have tutored students of all ages and in every subject. I also have tutored students to prepare them for NWEA and other tests. I read, write and speak the Greek Language since a child. In the past I have helped students and adults with their Greek homework and even have taught Greek dance lessons. I enjoy tutoring because it's a one-on-one experience. I love teaching during the day so it makes me happy being able to take that outside of the classroom and help students out. President/ Co-Founder at Donate.Your.Way December 2009 - Present The DYW Group is comprised of four friends who put their minds together one holiday season in 2009 and came up with an idea to help kids in need. What started as a small toy drive has evolved into an annual fundraiser that will benefit children for years to come. The Donate Your Way fundraiser is an annual fundraising event that offers something different and unique in the aspect of charity.The charity giving is split into two different parts: toy drive and monetary funds.New and unwrapped toys are collected and donated to the Walter and Connie Payton Foundation Toy drive, which distributes toys during the holiday season to less fortunate children throughout Illinois. The monetary funds are collected and donated to a different cause every year. We have donated to the Juveniles Diabetes Fund and the National Pediatric Multiple Sclerosis Society. Each year, we choose a different fund which brings awareness to a pediatric disease. This way, by giving people the option of bringing toys or donating money (or both), we offer them the "donate your way" opportunity in choosing how exactly they get to do something charitable.

I love to explore! I have been to many different states and countries. I enjoy learning about new cultures and places. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do. I have a nice and nephew that keep me young and active over the weekends. I enjoy playing sports and love to dance. I have been a coach in the past with my old Pom Pon coach at my side. I love all types of dance but mostly enjoy teaching and dancing Greek. I am outgoing and friendly. I can get lost in a good book for hours. I enjoy walking the city and taking up pilates classes when I can.
