I graduated from Northern Illinois University in December of 2013 with a bachelors in Elementary Education. I graduated with a 3.8 GPA.
Experience
After graduation I worked at a daycare center, helping middle school children better understand and complete their homework. Once I moved back to Chicago, I worked as a tutor for Brain Hurricane in the UNO Charter School District, tutoring students ages 7-13 in reading, writing, and language arts. In March of 2014, I began substituting for CPS and from there got hired as a 3rd grade self contained teacher. For the 2014-2015 school year, I currently teach 6th-8th reading, writing, language arts, and social studies to middle school students.
