Experience

I currently tutor through Sylvan for a Title 1 program at the school I teach at for upper elementary. I also tutor a first grader in reading, math and writing. Additionally, I tutor a 3rd grade student in math. I love tutoring because the one-on-one focus really allows children to thrive. The individualized attention really gets children to understand and grasp concepts quickly and deeply, sometimes more so than in a traditional classroom setting. Those sorts of achievement are so rewarding as an educator!
