Experience

I graduated in 2012 from St. Xavier University with a degree in elementary education and an endorsement in language. I have one course remaining, and I will have received an endorsement for middle school mathematics, which I have a great fondness for.  I have also just completed a master's degree in media communications and hope to be working in that area in education. I have been teaching for three years, and I tutor K-8 students in reading and mathematics. I also tutor in English, phonics, and assist with study skills and organization. I am also available for summer tutoring. I sing as well, and I am able to provide the basic knowledge of music theory. I have a love for tutoring, as it allows me to help those who struggle on a one-on-one basis; I seek to find the learning style of the individual and go from there. I know each tutoring session will be productive, and I help assist to overcome each academic weakness we encounter. In my spare time, I enjoy working out. I also like acting, singing, and modeling. I currently live in the South Holland, IL area and look forward to helping you and your child reach academic success!
