Experience
I believe both my passion for sharing and communicating ideas and my professional experience as a lawyer make me an excellent educator. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Northwestern University, and I completed my J.D. at the Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Before receiving my law degree, I worked on creating the curriculum for an after-school homework assistance program at a local community center. My work as a lawyer includes serving as a Guardian ad Litem for children in the midst of guardianship issues, as well as serving clients that are dealing with family law and housing disputes. As a tutor, I can offer my students assistance with a variety of classes, including elementary school math, reading, writing, essay editing, pre-algebra, literature, English, social studies, public speaking, American history, European history, SAT verbal preparation, SAT critical reading preparation, and SAT writing preparation. I'm also available to assist with the college application process. During my one-on-one time with students, I share my passion for communicating effectively to assist them in discovering, fine-tuning, and relaying their specific viewpoints. In my free time outside of working and tutoring, I enjoy yoga and discovering new restaurants throughout the Chicago area.
