I recently graduated from the University of Chicago with a Master of Arts in the Humanities. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English there as well. I am willing to go the extra mile to make sure each student succeeds in their learning endeavors, and I'm happy to meet with a student outside of our regularly planned sessions if that's what it takes!I am able to tutor students in reading, writing, and test preparation. I am able to work with students on their essay writing and editing skills, grammar and mechanics, literature, and public speaking. I can help students prepare for the PSAT, GRE, SAT, and the SAT subject test in United States History. For the GRE, my primary tutoring focus is on the verbal portion of the test, while on the PSAT, I am able to help students who need to focus on increasing their critical reading skills.When I am not working with others, I enjoy watching Netflix and keeping up with the latest movies, news items, and pop culture. I also enjoy spending time with my friends.
