I taught for three years, 2.5 years at Lane Tech in CPS and .5 at Prospect High School in District 214. I taught Freshman Honors English, American Literature, Media Analysis, Senior Composition, and Speech. I am drawn to tutoring because of the one on one attention it allows me to give to my students. While teaching, it is very difficult to be able to conference with every student to meet their every need. Tutoring makes meeting my students' needs possible.

Hobbies

I have several passions and hobbies that I try to feed each day. Photography is a love of mine. I love capturing moments that otherwise would be lost forever-it is exhilarating. I love to run. I have 3 marathons under my belt, one of the three being Chicago. I also love to do yoga and have been practicing for seven years. Growing up, I was a dancer and I taught classes for 6 years. Travel is another passion of mine. I have a map with pins in all of the places I have been, and all the places I want to go. I will be adding a pin in Greece this March! I also have the cutest little French Bulldog puppy named Ferdinand. He is the coolest pup in the city of Chicago.
