As an experienced tutor, I am dedicated to helping my students reach all of their goals. Whether they're preparing for the ACT or need some extra practice with learning French verbs, I'm able to give every student the hands-on assistance they need to succeed. During my time as a student, I've had the privilege of helping a number of my peers improve their understanding of English and French, as well as master a variety of other challenging subjects. I believe that the best way to help students succeed in the classroom is to pinpoint their strengths and weaknesses so that I can come up with a customized lesson plan designed specifically for them. As a teacher, I believe that it's important to be flexible and willing to adapt your lessons at a moment's notice. I also believe in the importance of helping students set challenging goals that they're able to obtain after hard work and dedication. I am a graduate of the University of Virginia, where I graduated in 2013 with a degree in foreign affairs and French. During my time as a student, I was able to spend six months learning abroad in Lyon, France. Along with the French language, my other hobbies include traveling, hiking, and doing triathlons.
