I am an undergraduate of Butler University. Now, I'm finishing my graduate courses at the University of Illinois.I'm experienced in tutoring all age groups because I used to be a substitute teacher for K-12 students in Michigan, and I was a teaching assistant at my graduate school for a couple of years.Here's a sample of the disciplines I tutor: Reading, Writing, College Essays, Special Education, Social Studies, GRE, Test Prep, ACT, and more. I also tutor in the summer if your child is struggling with a certain subject.Even though I don't mind tutoring in various subjects, my favorite ones are English and reading comprehension. I believe that once a student masters the art of reading and writing, they will excel in other academic fields too. I think that all students have the ability to ameliorate their reading and writing skills and enjoy the learning process. When I instruct my students, I ensure that my lessons include their perspectives because I view learning as a cooperative activity.When I need to unwind from my tutoring duties, I read and write science fiction stories, play and listen to many genres of music, and take a leisurely jog in the city of Chicago.
