Experience
I first attended the University of Texas where I earned my bachelor's degree, and I then went on to earn my J.D. at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. While attending law school, I had the chance to teach classes in law at the local prisons. This was when I discovered how much I love to teach. Now, I enjoy tutoring a variety of courses to people of all ages. When I tutor, I never just tell students the answer to a question. Instead, I help them find the answers on their own, so they then know the steps to take to find an answer later when working independently. During my undergraduate studies, I held a dual major, and I also have experience working as an appellate clerk. My college, law school, and work experience has helped me develop great writing skills along with an extensive knowledge base of many subjects. I now enjoy helping students master their own writing assignments and essays, including both law school and college admissions essays, along with personal statements. In addition, I enjoy tutoring courses on constitutional and criminal law and helping students prepare for the LSAT. When not tutoring, I enjoy hiking, reading, practicing yoga, and watching Netflix.
