Experience

As a tutor, I believe two crucial components to helping students learn are being a good mentor and acting as a friend. I believe all my students need to fully understand concepts, and be able to apply them to various problems, in order to have mastered a subject. I always strive to use examples when teaching my students, because I feel it further reinforces their learning. I tailor all my sessions around the needs of those I am teaching.I offer tutoring in Algebra 1-4, Calculus 1-2, Geometry, Elementary and Middle School Math, Precalculus, Statistics, Trigonometry, Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Biostatistics, ESL/ELL, Essay Editing, Grammar and Mechanics, College Essays, Pre-Algebra, Science, College Algebra, Evolution, General Biology, General Chemistry, English, Psychology, and Social Sciences, as well as test prep for the ACT.I am a graduate of Loyola University, Chicago. In my free time, I love to read, and go running and swimming.
