Hi, my name is John, and I earned degrees in Economics and Jazz Performance from Arizona State University. I left Arizona after graduation and now reside in Chicago, IL. The change from extreme heat to extreme cold is quite a shock. Since moving to Chicago, I have already had the opportunity to tutor students in math, and I have thoroughly enjoyed building relationships with my clients and their families. I am comfortable teaching students of all ages, from kindergarten to senior year. I also have experience tutoring those with special needs. It warms my heart to see a student overcome an obstacle that was beyond their control. I also work with youth in my church, which gives me more experience working with children of all ages. I believe it is important to be able to relate to children of all ages to be a successful tutor. When I am not tutoring, I spend my time kickboxing, running, listening to music, and brushing up on Economics. If you need help preparing for exams or improving your math grade, I am here to help.
