Hobbies
As a PhD student, I spend a ton of time reading and writing about literature, which I love; I also follow technology issues in the news and occasionally write about them. I enjoy fiddling with computers and getting them to do what I want (even if it sometimes takes a while). I come from a big family, and most of my brothers now study science; we typically have loud nerdy conversations about, for example, the revolutions of the moon around the earth and sun. I married young and have an infant daughter; my wife is a painter.
