I have been an adjunct professor at DePaul University since 1997 where I have mostly taught composition and rhetoric courses to first year students. I have worked in the classroom and one on one with hundreds of students. I have worked with students with learning disabilities and ESL students. As a high school student, I was a Merit Scholar, having a 1400 score on my SATs. I know what it takes to prepare for standardized tests. As a PhD student and scholar, I have published numerous articles and book chapters, and was trained in an interdisciplinary field that encompassed philosophy, religious studies, anthropology, sociology and cultural studies.
