I worked as a writing tutor for two years at North Park, helping undergraduate students with essays and research papers written on a wide range of topics. Along with the rigorous coursework I underwent to achieve the tutoring position, I've also taken courses in literature, creative writing, philosophy, sociology, and history, and since graduating I've been studying film and media studies independently. I recently had my first essay published by Iowa State University's Flyway Journal and I frequently contribute content to Chicago Innerview, the city's festival guide for Lollapalooza, Pitchfork, and North Coast music festivals.
