I studied pre-medicine and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise & Sports Science from Hamline University in St. Paul, MN. I am currently studying for the MCAT and plan to attend medical school. Tutoring the subject of mathematics has been an incredibly rewarding experience. When the subject's concepts are understood, everything clicks. I deeply enjoy seeing my students experience the moment where they finally understand a concept. I have years of experience teaching students of various age groups the subjects of science, English, and math. I tutor Biology, Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Anatomy, Environmental Science, and Physical Science. I also tutor Algebra, Pre-Algebra, Precalculus, Geometry, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, and Statistics. In English, I tutor Reading, Phonics, and Grammar and Mechanics. I can also help students prepare for the SAT, ACT, HSPT, ISAT, SSAT, and ISEE.I currently live in Chicago and I love sports. When I'm not playing hockey, tutoring, or studying, I like to catch a game on TV. Being active outdoors is important to me; however, I also like to curl up with a good book.
