Experience
I graduated from the University of Houston where I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre. I majored in Acting. While I chose to major in Liberal Arts, I have a tremendous love for the academics. The majority of my teaching efforts have been helping prepare students for the SAT, PSAT, and the ACT. It is important that students do well on these tests because they can set the standard for what students think they can achieve throughout college. I love teaching SAT Writing, and ACT English. Writing is a key element of learning and being able to communicate at every level. You will need to communicate well to succeed. The need for exact communication will be required at every juncture in life.My tutoring style is not complicated. I strive to keep students interested without losing sight of our goals. Students learn better when they are at ease with their subject. They also do better when subjects are taught in ways that they learn best. When I have time to spare, I enjoy acting and improvising. I can use these experiences as well to teach students to "imagine" being successful. I can think of nothing better than to help tutor you to success.
