Even though I have a bachelor's degree in Political Science, I have more passion for the Spanish language. While I was in college, I was able to study abroad two different times. The first was a language-intensive semester in Costa Rica, the second a partial summer as a professor's research assistant in Mexico. I have tutored anywhere from beginner level grammar to advanced conversational Spanish. I love to share my passion, awareness, and enthusiasm for Spanish with my students. Spanish language and culture are a huge part of my life, and I am glad that I decided to pursue it. Being fluent in Spanish can help you obtain a better paying job, especially here in the Chicago area. I have worked for two companies since graduating, and both companies have made Spanish fluency a requirement. I believe that adding Spanish fluency to your list of life skills can only better your chances of being successful. When I am not tutoring, you can find me playing guitar, watching sports, finding new music, traveling, and being outdoors.
