I will soon be enrolling at the University of Chicago Law School to obtain my JD and become a lawyer. I already have two BS degrees; one in psychology and the other in marketing. While educating myself, I found that I enjoyed taking part in the education of others. I became a tutor and have worked with students that range in age from elementary school students to graduate students. I mainly tutor in the subjects of math and English, but also enjoy helping students prep to take exams. More importantly, due to my own recent preparation for the law school entrance exam, I enjoy helping students who are studying to take the LSAT exam. To me, the LSAT differs from most graduate-level exams because it uses puzzles and logic elements that make it an enjoyable challenge. I always make sure to take the time with a student figure out their goals for working with me and how they like to study and learn concepts. We work together to develop a plan to accomplish the goals that we set. Every student is different and learns in different ways; that is why I feel it is important to tailor a plan for each student. When I am not tutoring, I enjoying running, hiking, and spending time outdoors walking my dog.
