I am a qualified and experienced teacher who is able to help students gain the understanding and skills necessary to successfully enhance their scholastic performance. In the past year, I instructed 10th grade students in chemistry and 9th grade students in geology at Chicago's Tilden High School. I also served as a volunteer tutor at Revive's Homework Help Program, a program for individuals who are less fortunate. I am a graduate of the University of Michigan with a bachelor's degree in Economics. I am presently attending DePaul University pursuing my master's degree in Mathematics Education. I believe that my experiences in tutoring and teaching, along with my math background, help me to assist the individuals to comprehend the course material and cultivate analytical understanding. I am able to tutor various subjects, including ASPIRE classes, Math classes, prep for the PSAT and SAT exams, various AP classes, CLEP, and prepping for the ACT exam.I was a player in basketball, and I use those skills to help coach the Tilden High School basketball team at the varsity level. My other interests are football, music, and movies. I currently reside in Chicago, IL.
