Experience

I earned my bachelor's degree in Economics at Northwestern University. I am presently working in finance in Chicago, IL. As long as I can remember, I have been interested in teaching. In the future, I would like to become a professor and teach to individuals at the college level. I believe that tutoring is a great way for me to start getting involved with this. Every student learns in a different way, and the style of tutoring I use will change each time depending on the needs of the student and their own unique learning style. What brings me joy when I tutor is being able to adapt how I explain a concept in various ways so each student fully understands the concept. The true test of a teacher is being able to convey the concepts accurately from the different angles of the questions each individual can ask. My favorite subject to tutor is the GMAT. I am also able to tutor in the SAT test and Math basic levels like Algebra 1-3/4 and Geometry. In my free time, I like to venture out and listen to music at rooftop lounges and play flag football and volleyball. I am also interested in finance.
