I graduated from Westminster College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Criminal Justice Studies. While in school, I was a tutor and teacher's assistant in the Biology Department. I helped students from a variety of majors with biological concepts, scientific writing, and laboratories. I also organized field research where I would analyze the effects of nutrients on invasive plant species. Before I graduated, I had the opportunity to assist teach a Sociology class to inmates at a correctional institute. After I graduated, I worked as a tutor for several months teaching a variety of subjects such as Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Sociology, and more.Tutoring isn't just a job for me. Instead, it is my ambition and a priority. I believe that in order to grow personally and professionally, education is incredibly important. My Sociology experiences have given me the tools needed to connect with my students. It is important to connect with students so I can find out how to better help my students to succeed. I know that with the right guidance, any student can achieve success.In my free time, I enjoy riding my motorcycle, practicing martial arts, and reading comic books.
