Experience
One of my greatest strengths as a tutor are the two decades of experience I have in teaching students at the university level. Along with that experience with college students, I also have experience helping high school students with grammar, spelling, literature, composition, AP test preparation, and college essay preparation. In addition to that, I can also offer assistance with French classes, and I have firsthand experience in teaching creative writing classes focused on both poetry and fiction. I'm genuinely looking forward to tutoring students and helping them move forward in their academic journey. As for my own educational background, I majored in French with a minor in translation, and I received degrees from both Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Mich., and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, La. When I'm not working with my students in the classroom, you can find me writing, playing video games, blogging, watching movies, and reading science fiction.
