My mother is a retired Elementary Special Education Teacher and from the time I was a little girl I loved helping her grade tests and homework. I have enjoyed tutoring since I started in the 5th grade. As a graduate student, I value education and have a passion for making learning fun. I enjoy tutoring students at all learning levels. I have experience tutoring students ages 10-17 in Math, Social Studies, Computer Science, English, Reading and Writing. As a volunteer for the Northwest Special Recreation Association, I am specialized in working with learning disabilities. *OUTSTANDING SERVICE AWARD - recognized for "outstanding contribution to the community" by the College of Dupage's Service Learning Program for my volunteer work with The People's Resource Center of Dupage County.

With Chicago credited as the birthplace of Improv, I pride myself in graduating from The Second City Conservatory. With a team of writers, I developed "Bad Guys in Suits," a humorous conman show set in the 1930's, recommended by the Chicago Theater Alliance. For our next production, "High Class," we satirized current events and contrasted urban and rural life styles. I am currently employed as a freelance writer and Social Media Manager. Working in freelance allows for a very flexible schedule. I am also a part-time graduate student at Columbia College Chicago, with only 12 remaining credit hours to complete my Masters of Arts Management. My current classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-6:30PM. I am available all other times. Other hobbies include: swimming, volleyball, music (piano & guitar), and reading.
