I gained a distinction in Masters degree with a major in American Cultural Studies and a minor in Criticism and Theory from Exeter University in the UK. This gives me the equivalent of a 4.0 GPA and a good grounding in literary and media studies. I scored in the top 2% in English when taking my GRE here two years ago. Bachelor of Arts Honors Degree from Nottingham University in the UK in English Studies, with a major in Literature and a minor in Modern English Language. 2:1. Postgraduate Certificate of Education from the University of Exeter UK. Private Secretary's Qualification from Barnstaple College UK. Top London Chamber of Commerce and Royal Society of Arts grades achieved.
Experience
I love teaching. I am at present an International Film Examiner (16+) and a Religious Education Coordinator and would like to add tutoring to my program. People described me as energetic as a teacher and passionate about my subject areas. I have taught and tutored Literature and Language for twenty years including SAT, degree level and the International Baccalaureate (AP level). I have also taught Film Studies at 16+ level. My students have gained college credit for their results and have achieved excellent grades overall. I taught at one of the top state schools in the UK, Colyton Grammar: all the students gained top marks.
