2300 SAT score, AP National Scholar, Nine AP tests with a score of four or above, National Merit Commendation. I have always had a passion for learning and teaching. My mom was a teacher, and so she always pushed me to do my best. Among everything else I learned from my mother, an efficient and proven teaching style was imperative to my higher learning. I started teaching others in a fifth grade math class, in which I taught some of the students a more simplified version of what we were learning in class. In middle school, I was chosen to assistant teach a graphic design course for other students in my grade. Then, in high school, I was tutoring kids older than me in myriad subjects, particularly math. My method of teaching is very focused on the students control of the material. I believe that if the student comes to the answer his or herself, even the wrong answer (in which case I would guide the student to the right answer), the student will have more confidence going into tests and entering into the realm of independent learning, be it in college or in the workforce.

Hobbies
I am a performer by trade, working professionally in shows around the Chicagoland area. With that, I take regular dance classes and singing lessons. I have just enrolled in improv classes, and attend many shows at iO to hone that craft. Otherwise, I like to swim and play piano. I grew up a competitive gymnast and still tumble when I can.
