Experience
I currently tutor writing and language skills at DePaul University's Center for Writing based Learning. I've also helped students with writing and reading through 826CHI. I've taught First Year Writing and Composition at DePaul University, and have taken many classes centered on writing instruction and the teaching of English to speakers of other languages (TESOL). I've presented at multiple academic conferences and have also had work published. I am incredibly organized and driven as I have completed both my BA and MA in just over four years--but I understand the pressures modern day students face and have developed some strategies for making the most of the time I do have.

Hobbies
In my free time I love to explore the city in search of the best tacos. I like to do my exploring on foot, so I can stop to pet all of the dogs I encounter along the way! I also like going to concerts as I have a background in music. I was in band and orchestra in high school, and have played the piano since I was six.
