I have a passion for learning and teaching. I have two children with whom I make lots of moments with them fun and teachable moments. I praise my students and children for even the smallest accomplishments as it makes them feel empowered, and builds their confidence. I teach children in whole group, small group, and individual settings. I have access to many resources, and I get to know the child’s learning style in order to effectively reach them. I think it’s important to build a rapport with any child, so I make getting to know the child a priority so that they feel safe in their learning environment. I have lots of experience with scaffolding the learning, with the ultimate goal being the learner is able to complete learning tasks independently.
