Quid novis! I am an honors archaeology student at Vanderbilt University looking to help others explore the world and its past. Tutoring Experience: I began tutoring in high school and organized a team to run free, open sessions twice each week for students in any class. Since then, I have taken on several private tutoring positions and helped middle school, high school, and college students see success in general classes as well as entrance exams. Most recently, I worked as a field school instructor with a project that, in addition to conducting archaeological research, seeks to improve the access to and funding for education in the rural Peruvian Andes. Furthermore, I am actively involved in academic research, both with the aforementioned project in Peru, and in Bolivia with my university anthropology department. This experience has allowed me to teach not only facts and theories, but why these things matter and how they are applied in real life. Focus Subjects: Spanish- I have taken 5 years of Spanish classes, received a 5 on the AP test and equivalent on the SAT II, and have lived for several months in Peru. While there, I ran sessions to help other English-speakers learn the language. Latin- I have taken 3 years of collegiate Latin courses, alongside Roman history and culture classes to contextualize its great works. History- As an archaeologist, I have taken classes on the pre-modern history of Europe, Asia, and the Americas, and I can easily adapt to other locations and periods. I have previously tutored high school world history, and have taught at an archaeological field school. Other- I have also helped students achieve success in high school math, chemistry, biology, and English. I have taken college courses in each of these subjects, and received a 5 on the corresponding AP exams.

Hobbies
Outside of the classroom, I am active in my university's performing arts community, in the marching band, symphonic choir, a cappella choir, and theater department. I am also a proud Eagle Scout.
