I am a performance artist, and educator, currently working as a writing tutor at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in the Writing Center. This is my second semester tutoring, and I love it so much that I would like to continue working as a tutor after I complete graduate school. This profile will (for the time being) serve as a way for my current students to to rate, or review me, and keep in touch with me after I leave SAIC in May 2014. I love tutoring because I find it deeply rewarding. Many students who come to me with writing they feel insecure about walk out of their session feeling a new sense of clarity, and excitement over having verbally articulated their ideas in a way that is intelligent, and creative, yet clear, and accessible.
