I graduated from a small school called Earlham College with a degree in Sociology/Anthropology and a 3.89/4.0 GPA.
Experience
I currently coordinate an after school tutoring and mentoring program for youth who will be the first in their families to attend college. I love working with young people and really enjoy tutoring multiple subjects, especially math. My students have told me that I can explain math in ways that are understandable and make it seem easy! My GRE scores were 166 in verbal (97% percentile), 162 in math (87% percentile) and a 5 in writing. I grew up in Virginia so I took the SAT, in which I scored at 1410/1600. I believe I connect well with students and provide academic motivation and encouragement as well as subject tutoring.
