My name is Jessie, and I am a graduate of the International Baccalaureate programme at Atlanta International School and of Barnard College of Columbia University in New York City. I am excited for the opportunity to work with your child in any number of areas including IB subjects, SAT Prep (Critical Reading: 780, Writing: 800), Chemistry, French, English, and Essay Writing. My approach to tutoring is very hands-on. I learn by doing, and many children work the same way. When I'm with your child, I will never be answering a question for them--the way we learn is by doing! My role is as a helper and a supporter, so while you will see me talking your child through their essay, you will never see me doing it for them. I am a warm and easy-going person, who can make tutoring sessions fun for your child and stress-free for you.
