ExperienceI have been a biology tutor at Malcolm X College for over 10 years now. I took the TEAS exam in 2012 and did well on it. I am a tutor because I want to give students the confidence and tools to achieve their goals. I welcome students with disabilities and slower learners. I have worked with a number of students with disabilities at Malcolm X College and together we have overcome them by learning the student's strengths and giving the student the confidence they need to succeed. I have worked in research, public health clinics, Cook County Hospital. law firms and the colleges so I bring a wealth of experience to the tutoring session besides the subject of anatomy and physiology.
HobbiesI have a black Labrador retriever Max and three cats at home. Being a massage therapist for over 10 years I am well versed in relaxation techniques stretching and breathing techniques to overcome test anxiety.
