I am a current first year Medical Student at The Chicago Medical School. I completed my Masters in Biomedical Science at Rosalind Franklin University in 2019. I attended UC Davis and received a Neurobiology Physiology and Behavior Degree in May 2017 with a GPA of 3.5. I Graduated from Rancho Bernardo High School in 2013 with a 4.25 GPA.

Experience

- Extensive experience in working with students on writing skills and essay development. Very comfortable with teaching literature and creative writing. I have worked as a SAT Math and SAT Reading/Writing Language Teacher at a premier SAT tutoring facility. Additionally, taught a course on the Biology SAT Subject Exam. Worked as a personal tutor covering most middle school and high school science and math courses. -During my time at UC Davis I was on the Deans Honor List for Fall 2014 and Winter 2015, Fall 2016 and Winter 2017. I have successfully completed all general chemistry, organic chemistry, biology and physics courses as well as numerous other classes ranging from Women Studies to Religious studies. - Reading SAT score of 630, Math SAT score of 670 and Writing SAT score of 640 for a cumulative score of 1940 as well as a SAT Math II Subject Test Score of 720. - During my four years of High School I took a total of nine AP classes- AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics, AP Calculus, AP English Language, AP English Literature, AP European History, AP U.S History, and AP U.S Government- and seven Honors classes- Honors English, Honors Geometry, Honors Algebra 1-2 & 3-4, Honors Pre-Calculus, Honors Chemistry and Honors Biology. Throughout High School I was also named Scholar Athlete of the Year as well as the Union Tribune Scholar Athlete and was a member of the Distinguished Honor Roll all 4 years of high school for maintaining a GPA of 4.0 or higher. Teaching has always been a passion of mine. Throughout High School and College I was fortunate enough to have teachers who exposed me to the world of literature and inspired me to explore the realm of writing. Through this I have developed a desire to show future students how fascinating Literature can be.

Hobbies

I have a passion for playing tennis, as well as all sports, and was a member of the Girls Varsity Tennis Team for all four years of high school. I also love reading; my favorite books include East of Eden, The Great Gatsby and Catcher in the Rye. Coupled with my love for reading I also have a strong interest in creative writing.
