Experience
- I have tutored high school students in Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, as well as Chemistry and Physics. - I received a 35 Composite score on the ACT, with a perfect score of 36 on the Mathematics and Science sub-sections. I also received a 780 on the SAT Math II Subject Test and a 750 on the Chemistry SAT Subject Test. I received a 5 on the AP Chemistry, AP Calculus BC, AP Physics C: Mechanics and a 4 on AP Biology and AP Physics C: Electricity & Magnetism. - I want to be a tutor because I believe that the best way to learn is by teaching. I love helping people and tutoring allows me to use my knowledge and my resources while helping other students. - Throughout high school, I have taken and excelled at six Science courses: Honors and AP Biology, Honors and AP Chemistry, Honors and AP Physics. I have also taken AP Calculus BC and several other AP courses in History, Economics, and Spanish. - I am a recipient of the UIC Honors College Academic Excellence Award. I am an Illinois State Scholar as well as an Indian Prairie Scholar. I have been a part of the leadership team on various academic clubs throughout high school.
