Experience
I am currently working in a CPS school as a junior Physics teacher in both an instructional and a co-taught setting. I work with students with a range of disabilities and can implement a variety accommodations and modifications to help your student be successful. I spent the last year serving as a full-time tutor for City Year Chicago, which is an Americorps volunteer program that works in high-need schools on the West and Southsides of Chicago. On a daily basis, I tutored ninth grade students in both small groups and individually in English and Language Arts, as well as providing whole classroom support. I also worked with students in World Studies and Sciences, though not in a formal classroom setting. Moreover, I have worked as a nanny and babysitter for children ranging from three months to ten years old for eight years.
