Education

I graduated from Duke University in 2005 with a BA in English and Classical Languages. In 2010 I earned an MA in English Education from UIC. I have my Illinois Teaching Certification in English and Latin.

Experience

I have been an English and Latin tutor for eight years, and I currently teach Latin at a selective enrollment high school in Chicago. I have taught in public, private, and alternative schools, and I have experience with all levels and ages. I have worked many hundreds of hours as a private tutor. I have predominately taught English (especially writing) and Latin (all levels). I also have helped students prepare for the GED (especially the math section).
