Current Masters in Counseling Psychology student at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology; graduated Cum Laude from Northwestern University in June 2012 (GPA 3.81) with majors in Psychology and Philosophy and a minor in French.
Experience
I have previously tutored both professionally and on a volunteer basis in all of the subjects listed in my profile, with student ages ranging from 5 years to adult. I am passionate about second language learning, am myself fluent in French, and have worked with preschool and kindergarten-aged children at the French School in Winnetka, IL. I have received multiple writing and English awards and am confident tutoring reading or writing skills up through the collegiate level. My undergraduate specializations were psychology, philosophy and French, and I love tutoring in these fields. When working with students I am upbeat, encouraging and patient, never giving up if one approach is not working. I enjoy being a tutor because helping people achieve genuine success in any subject is fulfilling, confidence-boosting, and even quite fun for all parties involved.
