Experience
I am a recent graduate of Northwestern University. I scored a 34 on my ACT, and a 2280 on my SAT (with a 780 in Math). I tutored in high school and volunteered in a neighboring school's learning center, helping struggling students. I took AP English, AP Calculus, and AP Physics in high school, and scored 5's on the English Language, English Literature, and Calculus AB tests. In college, I studied abroad in France for a semester, and took classes in history, political science, French, German, linguistics, calculus, linear algebra, English literature, writing (poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction), anthropology, philosophy, music theory, and music history.

Hobbies
My two great loves are obviously music and literature, as evident in my choice of majors! I read all the time, mostly fiction, but with a healthy dose of sci-fi/fantasy to keep life interesting. My other degree is in classical music performance, but my tastes are very eclectic; anything from Rachmaninoff to Radiohead to Rage Against the Machine... I've gotten really into biking this summer (a perfect activity for Chicago, what with the Lakefront), and also an avid Frisbee player. I love cooking, especially Indian food, an interest I inherited from my step-father. Finally, my sister and I have an annual back-packing trip that we do; she knows much more about it than me, but I love hiking and camping, the more remote and rugged the better.
