I have over ten years of tutoring experience in writing, essay composition, grammar, reading comprehension, basic language arts (K-8), Latin and Italian. I've worked with elementary students to college students and am currently an adjunct instructor of Writing and Rhetoric at Columbia College Chicago. I have always had a passion for and have excelled at learning. I am dedicated to helping students of all abilities discover that, with a little hard work and by setting clear goals, school can be a rewarding and even fun experience. I take time to understand each of my student's strengths and weaknesses and work with him/her (and the parents too), not only to master subject matter or concepts at hand, but also develop lasting study habits, organizational skills and confidence.
