Education
I attended the University of Illinois- Chicago for my Bachelors in Applied Psychology and now I'm taking prerequisites for Nursing school at Truman College in Uptown. I will be applying for nursing schools Fall'15 and will be looking to attend Fall'16! I'm also a certified nursing assistant and have experience working at multiple internships (including a corporate communications internship at a major insurance company in downtown Chicago and at a medical billing agency in Naperville, IL).
Experience
I have experience tutoring several school-aged children and college students through family-friends connections, class mates and through University Tutor. I'm very knowledgeable and particularly interested in Algebra and Psychology, but have done well in other subjects (such as Biology, Chemistry, Geography, etc.). My Availability: -Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays (days in which I dont have classes) -Tuesdays and Thursdays: Mornings and evenings -Limited availability during weekends, but can work out times if needed (if no other time is viable). Overall, I'm pretty flexible with my hours and will gladly work out a weekly (or daily session) that perfectly aligns with both of our needs! :) Tutoring plan: Prior to tutoring your child, It would be great if I could make a copy of his/her syllabus as well as the chapters we will be covering throughout the semester. This would allow me to study their materials prior to our session and ensure that I will cover ALL the topics his/her teacher will be covering.
