Want to learn Italian? Learn a language in just eight weeks! A customized, one-on-one learning program to effectively meet YOUR individual objectives. I offer instruction at all levels, covering grammar, syntax and pronunciation through conversation, and written and reading assignments. During the lesson you will learn how to use rounding by exploring "real-world" situations. Your vocabulary enrichment grows throughout the course. Lessons are divided into different levels, ranging from absolute beginner to highly advanced. - Beginners 1: For students who have little or no knowledge of Italian. - Beginners 2: For students who have taken a Beginners class and are comfortable with the present, future, and some past (passato prossimo). - Intermediate 1: For students with at least 1 semester of Italian and are ready to move on to past (passato prossimo), imperfect, and conditional. - Intermediate 2: Continuation of Intermediate 1 with added emphasis on speaking and use of idiomatic sentences. - Advanced 1: For those who have taken all grammar classes and are interested in fine tuning their speaking skills. Applicants who are not beginners are given placement tests and interviewed. All core materials will be provided within the course at no cost for the student. There is no ideal length for an Italian course. The longer you study, the more you’ll learn, obviously. You could go from zero to advanced in around six months, which is a pretty long language course. Most people start with a week or two, to see if they like it. Over 8 weeks, we’ll learn and practice grammar and useful expressions, and work to enhance your vocabulary and pronunciation. You’ll be surprised how much you learn in just two months!
