I have been involved with tutoring for a long time, having started an ACT tutoring organization while I was still a college student. As a tutor, I am patient and often recognized for my skill at explaining complicated subjects in ways that are easy to understand. Each student should feel confident that they can improve. We will work together to identify the student's own needs, and then ultimately to reach the student's goals.I tutor students in reading, writing, essay editing, literature, grammar and mechanics, college essays, and public speaking. I also work with students who are preparing for the SAT or ACT exams.In my spare time, I like to go to the beach, read, go to the movies, and take photos in the art district. I attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Johns Hopkins.
