I have attended small schools my entire life, so I believe in the power of working in small groups or one-on-one. I can tutor you or your child in test prep, math, reading, and much more. I majored in biology and minored in chemistry. Memorization can help in a lot of cases, but I believe in also knowing how and why you get to an answer. I strive to teach my students that way. I like to guide my students through the problem, so that they gain problem-solving skills that they can use in the future. However, I am perfectly happy explaining things outright as well. I am ready and willing to help you or your child with whatever it is you need help studying. When I am not tutoring, you can find me swimming, knitting, and baking.
