Hobbies
I am an Italian PhD student living in Chicago! I love learning more about other cultures and sharing as much as I can about mine. Before moving to the United States, I had the chance to pursue graduate studies in French too and I am always very happy to get in touch with French families or to tutor and teach French language, literature, and culture! I am passionated about languages and arts and I like to enjoy the perks of Chicago: movie theaters, the Art Institute, the CSO, and the Opera. In Italy, I have worked as a co-dramatist for a theater company and I love to use the confidence I learnt to recognize and perform on the stage to empower young people and adults who feel insecure learning about a particular topic or language. I love conversing with my language students! In the wake of a childhood dream, I have recently picked up ballet!
