Experience

In high school, I was a motivated student and completed several AP classes for which I passed all of my exams and was able to receive college credit at Northeastern to place out of all of my entry-level classes and many core classes. I took AP classes in US History, World History, English Language, English Literature, Calculus AB, Spanish Language, Chemistry, and Psychology and graduated in the top 10 within a class of over 400 students. My best SAT scores were a 2280 (old score-translates to a 1550 on the new scoring methods). I was awarded the English award, Spanish award, and Chemistry award when I graduated from high school, a testament to my very diverse range of academic interests. I tutored peers in chemistry throughout high school. I feel comfortable tutoring many of the core subjects across all elementary and middle school ages, as well as English and Science at the high school level. In college, I pursued a degree in Biochemistry in my Honors Program at Northeastern University in Boston. I took several lab-based science courses including Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Anatomy/Physiology, and many, many more. I graduated magna cum laude with a GPA of 3.84 and continued to take Post-bach classes at Boston University School of Medicine prior to starting my graduate program. I am graduating from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago this Spring with my Physician Assistant degree. Over the past two years, I have spent a great deal of time coordinating and presenting lectures to my fellow classmates on a twice per week basis. I am comfortable researching and distilling information in the easiest way to understand possible based on where my client is at in their academics. I am happy to tutor anybody pursuing a degree in the healthcare field in the basics of medical terminology, anatomy/physiology, pathophysiology, clinical knowledge, etc. I am a passionate learner and am constantly trying to expand my own knowledge within my field, and I would love to share this passion of learning with you or your child.
