Hello, my name is Matthew, and I'm thrilled to be able to assist students in raising their SAT and PSAT scores. I understand that these tests can help open new doors in higher education, and I enjoy helping students discover their full potential. I grew up in Florida. I'm a big sports fan, and I like to hang with my friends, read, and play video games. At present, I am employed by City Year, where I function as support for the students and the teacher of a ninth grade classroom. I find the work very satisfying, I have also worked as a counselor for college freshmen, and a middle school camp counselor. I recently graduated from Yale. Doing extremely well on the SAT and PSAT probably was an important factor in my acceptance there. I, myself, have been tutored in the past, and I believe I can supply my students with the excellent instruction. I believe that any student can succeed provided they have the right combination of preparation, confidence, and encouragement. I'd like to help.My specialty is working with students to prepare for their standardized tests, specifically the PSAT and SAT. I have lots of experience doing so successfully, and look forward to teaching your student as well.
