First year Graduate student at SAIC in the MFA program for Creative Writing. Expected graduation year 2013. Bachelors in Art received from Georgetown College with a Major in English Literature and a Minor in Psychology, with a strong emphasis in History during my time there. GPA: 3.5
Experience
I worked in both the Biology and English departments in my undergrad as a student assistant. Additionally, I worked in the Writing Center, which required me to tutor students in many different types and formats of writing, as well as help with grammatical errors. During my undergrad I also volunteered with special needs children as a classroom assistant and personal tutor for students, providing one on one help and teaching lessons in the classroom. Currently I work as a classroom assistant for special needs students at SAIC. I have a passion for helping other overall and a patients that allows me to convey my knowledge in a helpful manner.
