Experience

I believe that a great tutor is also a great mentor. To be a great mentor, you cannot demand things, or coerce people, nor should you treat your students like you are higher and more powerful than them. This creates unnecessary feelings of inadequacy. I believe in treating my clients as equals, no matter what walk of life they are from. Teaching is simply a meeting of the minds. It is better when the teacher and student can work together and share a common ground. My teaching method is to keep in mind that when I am teaching, I am sharing a mind-space with my student. I believe that to be a successful tutor, you must be able to accommodate each individual's learning styles. As far as my education, I have my Bachelor of English and a Master of Political Science. I am planning to obtain my PH.D. in Political Science next. I want to someday become a professor. I love politics, writing, and philosophy, and I am fairly good at math. I would love to help you in any of these subjects. When I am not tutoring, you can find me listening to music and exploring art.
