I have three years of experience tutoring students in chemistry. I like to get to know my students upfront so I can figure out where they need help the most. I then customize a plan for them to focus on their needs, and I begin explaining concepts in ways that are comprehensive but easy to understand. I focus on helping students develop the skills they need to become independent learners outside of tutoring. I went to DePaul University to earn my undergraduate degree in chemistry, and I'm now attending the Illinois Institute of Technology for a masters degree in chemical engineering. My specialties as a tutor are chemistry and calculus, which I use on a daily basis in school and feel very comfortable with. When I have free time, I like to read, play video games, listen to music, and spend time with friends.
